Model upgrading of container series
Pöppelmann will introduce the new TEKU container series MCL in three popular sizes. The company looks at them as a considerably improved replacement for the EC series. At the beginning the containers will be introduced to the market in 17, 19 and 21 cm.
The first advantage for the producers of foliage plants, shrubs and nursery stock: the TEKU MCL series has the multi hole star bottom which has been approved million fold with the MCI nursery containers. The very special 3- level irrigation and drainage system guarantees for a fast water absorption as well as dry “feet” afterwards.
The new TEKU MCL containers present themselves with a smooth design characterized through a fine surface structure. In order to guarantee the best possible quantity of plants per CC shelves, the diameter and the shape of the MCL containers has been improved.
Upon request the 17cm pots will be available with a custom-made print from our art department.
As all other TEKU products, the MCL containers work absolutely fine on automation. The potting machine as well as the lifting devices can access the pot without any problems. The stable and rigid rims are the best prerequisite for the utilization of modern automated production processes. The stacking ridges underneath the container bottom are another feature which contributes to automated processing. These stacking ridges prevent that the pots jam into each other.
A special attention has been paid to the well designed shoulder of the container. The special feature of the shoulder is a small but striking detail – a bevel. This means there are no disturbing edges while attaching tags or while using the forks of a Space-O-Mat.
The MCL containers are state of the art and in accordance to efficient cultivation.
