A plant bowl with system
The true way to success for any grower is a reliable method of cultivation. Pöppelmann (Lohne) also understands this and has given its new TEKU 16 cm MSB 16 bowl a multi-hole star base. The familiar system used in TEKU cultivation pots has shown its worth for all methods of cultivation, contributing to greater reliability for growers.
The multi-hole star base provides excellent aeration of the soil, while also ensuring uniform water absorption for all forms of irrigation. Rapid total drainage of excess irrigation water is, of course, just as important. For subirrigation methods, the holes which are located on different levels also ensure that drainage is not impeded and root growth not adversely affected.
The bowl is 7 cm high and holds 880 ml. With an outside diameter of 16 cm, it is well suited to standard forms of packaging. 32 items can be transported on a CC trolley. It goes without saying that automatic processing is not a problem. In this respect, the reinforced U-shaped rim is a definite advantage when it comes to unstacking the bowls in the potting machine.
The new MSB 16 plant bowl can also offer the TEKU AddedValue features that make life easier. This is where the multi-hole star base is worth another look, it is designed so that the corresponding MUC 14 saucer with bayonet fastening can be easily clipped onto it. This transforms the cultivation bowl into a consumer-friendly commercial container.
To streamline the sale of ready-planted bowls, the rim has two label slots for marketing purposes. Thanks to the carefully designed structure, the labels can be easily attached. These attractively shaped bowls are available from Pöppelmann in standard terracotta colour. However, colours tailored to a given product or company can also be supplied on request.
