The patented solution: FAMAC® expands its standard portfolio of welded spouts for stand-up pouches.
Pöppelmann FAMAC® expands its standard portfolio of weldspouts for flexible packages by a new series that offers even more filling flexibility and a more versatile range of applications. The mature, design-patented product series is shown for the first time at the Düsseldorf Interpack from 12 to 18 May 2011 and is now also available as a sample.
The innovative FAMAC® 002 series is characterised by two major benefits: Firstly, the larger diameter (12.5 mm) makes the weldspout ideal for fast filling of highly viscous liquids. The wider opening makes pouring of the liquids easier and faster. The second and even more decisive advantage of the FAMAC® 002 series becomes evident when the pouch is filled via the top seam. Here, the product clearly stands out from its competitors for its welding contour. It ensures an optically and functionally perfect finished product because this technology permanently retains the high-quality appearance of the pouch.
Whether fast filling of various types of liquids through the weldspout or through the head seam of the pouch - the new FAMAC® 002 series is easy to integrate into any production process and comes as a real gain for every company. Furthermore, the new weldspout for foil pouches convinces for its other properties,
for example a feature that is particularly relevant for the production process: Thanks to its optimized welding contour, the foil pouch can easily withstand high filling loads; the length of the guide notch has been reduced to a minimum for a more effective use of guide rail capacities.
At the point of sale, the new FAMAC® 002 series is a winner in terms of optical appearance, comfort, and safety. The foil pouch has a high-quality appearance and is comfortable to open and to re-close; the defined stop of the threaded fastener helps to close the spout safely. The audible tearing of the tamper-evident ring proves to the consumer the optimum quality and freshness of the product.
