Plastic processing is extremely varied and demanding. From complicated technical components for the automobile and solar industries, to complex articles for the pharmaceutical industry, and from intelligent products for the horticultural industry, to efficient bulk production of standard products.
To produce such components, we train experts who are skilled at handling modern materials and working with a computer controlled machine park. The main tasks of a process mechanic include setting up the machines and extraction robots. Process mechanics are also responsible for controlling and monitoring the production process, as well as for the quality of the finished products.
You can choose to specialise in either moulded components (injection moulding) or semi-finished products (extruding, thermoforming).
