Accurate and efficient plastic processing requires carefully and precisely manufactured injection and thermoforming moulds.

It will be your task to manufacture and repair these tools. To give you an idea of what it’s all about, a hair is 0.05 mm thick but in mould production, we can work to an accuracy of less than 0.01 mm. You will manufacture individual components from design specifications using modern computer controlled tools, such as milling machines, drills, grinders, lathes and electrical discharge machines, and will put the complex moulds together.

The quality of your work will play a decisive role in the quality of the plastic products.

Qualifications:

• At a minimum, have completed secondary school with good results,
• a good understanding of mathematics,
• understanding of physical processes.

• 3.5 years
