Operating sustainably, in economic, social and ecological terms, is nothing new for us, but rather something which we have practiced for decades.
We see it as our duty not only to act with social responsibility towards our employees and our community, but also to ensure that our products and processes are as environmentally-friendly as possible. This process begins during the product development stage, with the analysis of the ecological aspects of our products over their entire life-cycle. It is the responsibility of our environmental management team to ensure that the use of natural resources, energy and water is kept as low as possible in our production and logistic processes, and that waste, pollutants and emissions are eliminated. Our environmental management system is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2005 and EMAS. Over and above this, we regularly inform the public about our environmental management by way of environmental statements.
In this way, we harmonise economic acting with ecological thinking.
